Project goals: Contributing to Isparta's development through development of ecotourism potentials in Isparta by establishing network among the stakeholders, providing vocational education for ecotourism actors, and labeling and disseminating ecotourism opportunities in the region. Researching and analyzing best practices in ecotourism development in Europe, defining parameters and developing an evaluation grid for innovation in ecotourism practices, organizing a crowdsourcing competition to provide innovative solutions to ecotourism challenges pertain to ecotourism, organizing a 2-days workshop with 15 key stakeholders in order to discuss ecotourism potentials in Isparta, transfering and adapting the training modules of Ecodestinet project to Isparta, collaborating with trained ecotourism actors to produce a strategy for initiating effective ecotourism in Isparta, preparing a Turkey Ecotourism Network Guide.
Role of Zavod Novi turizem: - Researching and analyzing local/regional/national tourism development policies in Europe with emphasis on eco-tourism and innovation - Introducing Slovene innovative tourism development strategy and its mechanisms - Transferring the most interesting Slovene mechanisms for spurring innovation in the field of tourism to Isparta - Preparing a compendium of the most innovative, sustainable and eco practices appropriate for transfer - Choosing the best solutions and awarding the winner in liason with the consortium members |
